Mostafa is a circular economy facilitator and founder of MandIran, a social innovation movement transforming waste and mobility systems in Iran. With a background in business and sustainability, Mostafa spent the past years developing local solutions such as MandGari, a cargo-bike–based waste collection service that promotes zero-waste lifestyles. His work bridges community engagement, environmental education, and system design to empower citizens to take part in the circular transition. Mostafa believes bicycles are more than vehicles — they are tools for freedom, connection, and sustainable change.

As the Bicycle Mayor of Bojnord, Mostafa envisions a city where the bicycle becomes a symbol of circular living — where every pedal connects people, places, and purpose. Through MandGari, the bicycle-based upcycling network, Mostafa aims to turn cycling into a joyful rhythm of daily life, not merely a sport or leisure activity. His mission is to weave bicycles into the social fabric of Bojnord — as tools for connection, inclusion, and environmental action. Together with citizens, schools, and local partners, Mostafa want to prove that sustainability can start with a simple ride.
