María Esther Soto García

About me:

Hi, I’m Esther Soto, and I’m a neurodivergent woman who uses all her creative side to push for safe mobility. After my sister’s death I didn’t know that inside me there would be a bike activist. In 2021 I formally learned to use a bicycle and although it is not the transport I use the most, it is the means by which I choose to move around and work for road safety.

My plans for the term:

Every initiative I do for safe, accessible, efficient, sustainable, quality, inclusive and egalitarian streets is done in memory of those who lost their lives in a road accident. It is my firm intention to make bicycle users visible, to promote public policies that improve the conditions of travel for cyclists.
