I am Amar Vitthal Nadgeri, spent a happy childhood in the city of Mumbai and now residing at MIRA BHAYANDAR, a young city with energetic people around.
Graduated from Mumbai University in Hindi Literature and spent my teenage life learning and enjoying literature, active youth theatre including the departments like writing, technical direction and acting.
Having professional work experience of more than 15 years in Out of Home Advertising Actively involved in development of Public Private Partnership projects with Civic authorities, smart cities by providing the public convenience.
A passionate cyclist enjoying cycling from pat 7/8 years, the love for cycling helped to get involved in one of the projects of our employer i.e., Public Bicycle sharing, I am Responsible for operation and upkeep of PBS at three smart cities Thane a smart city in Mumbai Metropolitan region, Naya Raipur in the state of Chhattisgarh and Davanagere an education hub in state of Karnataka. Where I am trying to help the community by providing Last mile connectivity and reducing the burden on the local transports for short commutes.
What are your plans as Bicycle Mayor?
The Twin City of Mira Bhayander and the Mira Bhayander Cyclists Association encouraged me to participate in daily cycling and adapt to the same as lifestyle.
Aiming to serve my city, the development authorities with the help of the cyclists from Fitness associations, cycling enthusiasts and to develop a favourable condition for cycling across Mira Bhayander. Inspire, Motivate, Educate and Promote cycling among each part of the society to adapt it as practice in daily life.
