Max Schreuder, a seasoned expert in destination and city marketing, B2B and B2C communication, and hospitality sales, is joining the BYCS Board of Advisors, bringing his extensive experience to further enhance the organisation’s initiatives.
Max Schreuder holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and discovered his passion during a one-year MBA program focusing on marketing and sales in the hospitality industry. With seven years of experience in sales and marketing for 5-star hotels, he specialized in ‘MICE’ (Meetings, Incentives, Congresses, and Events) and transitioned into the world of international meetings and conferences.
As the former Director of the Amsterdam Convention Board, Max was responsible for promoting Amsterdam as a top meeting destination. In November 2006, he founded MaxxEffect Marketing & Hospitality, where he has provided services such as marketing and sales consulting and interim management.
Max’s expertise includes destination and city marketing, competitive analysis, B2B and B2C communication, hospitality sales and marketing, advertising, branding, direct marketing, and online marketing, with a focus on MICE and live communication.
