I have a diverse background in the IT industry, having worked for some of the largest IT corporations all over Europe. However, my true passion lies in behaviour and product design. I love using my creativity and problem-solving skills to create meaningful experiences for users. I strongly believe that well-designed products and services can positively shape human behaviour. I strive to bridge the gap between technology and human needs, ensuring intuitive and engaging user experiences that contribute to a better quality of life. Outside of work, I am a passionate advocate for improving cycling in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. I believe that fostering a mobility culture and promoting cycling skills among kids and youngsters is crucial for building a sustainable and vibrant community. In addition, you can frequently find me participating in various cycle race events. These exhilarating races offer an opportunity for me to indulge in my passion for cycling alongside my son. Whether it’s the intensity of road racing, the thrill of mountain biking, or the adventurous spirit of gravel cycling, we eagerly embrace these events as a way to challenge ourselves and experience the joy of cycling together.
What are your plans as Bicycle Mayor?
I am dedicated to promoting an active mobility culture in Sofia and encouraging people of all ages to embrace cycling as a practical form of transportation. Together with various organizations and local businesses, I aim to collaborate with authorities, schools, and community groups to raise awareness about the benefits of cycling and the importance of creating cyclist-friendly infrastructure. Through workshops and educational programs, I will empower children and youngsters with the skills and confidence to safely navigate the city on their bicycles. By bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds, we can work as a team to transform Sofia into a city that prioritizes cycling and fosters sustainable urban living. By fostering open communication and sharing our resources, knowledge, and expertise, we can form a united front in advocating for a city that prioritizes cycling. Together, we can plan workshops, events, and campaigns that engage the community and emphasize the many advantages of cycling, including better health, less traffic congestion, and a cleaner environment.
