Khadija Ahmal

About me:

Khadija is a young Amazigh Moroccan with an academic background in education and linguistics. As a youth expert and social activist, she is deeply committed to creating learning and growth opportunities for young people, particularly those from marginalized communities. Over the past six years, she has designed and implemented impactful projects both nationally and internationally, with a strong emphasis on meaningful youth participation. In her free time, Khadija enjoys cycling, video making, and baking.

My plans for the term:

During my term as Bicycle Mayor of Agadir, I aim to raise community awareness about the importance of adopting sustainable mobility practices for both health and the environment. I plan to bring together diverse stakeholders to discuss the challenges that prevent more citizens from cycling and to brainstorm solutions to overcome these barriers. Additionally, I want to promote a cycling culture that enhances mental and physical well-being by organizing cycling tours, wellness discussions, and fun activities for all age groups.
