Grecia Hernández

About me:

– Through a radio program, I was able to give a voice to the bicycle and to all of us who use it in its different forms.
– I was part of a road safety education project that has reached thousands of people who now have information and are involved in improving their behavior on the streets.
– I participated in local activism in my city from my university, expanding to other places.
– I was able to be a teacher on a government bike school for little kids.

My plans for the term:

– Increase and reactivate cyclist activism in my city from different fields of action.
– Achieve and monitor real and measurable commitments in an active mobility agenda with local authorities.
– Influence the current discourse and narrative around non-motorized mobility, especially in press and social media.
– Position urban cycling as a front against the climate crisis.
