I have represented Zimbabwean youths in Dresden Germany in 2017 at the Adjf into the wild Conference. I was a volunteer in 2006 and represented UNICEF-Zimbabwe at the Africa Development Forum in 2006 when I was just 19. I have a passion for cycling and I am keen to see safety conditions improving and the less privileged having access to bikes in Victoria Falls.
What are your plans as Bicycle Mayor?
I want to engage with school headmasters to identify children travelling long distances to get to school so that we can help them get bikes. I will also approach the department of transportation to incorporate cycle education amongst new and existing drivers, as well as doing a cycling educational tour to educate local population. I also see a pontential for people to experience and enjoy the beauties of Victoria Falls and I believe that cycling is the perfect way to do so.
