Thom Dellink

As a lifelong sports enthusiast, Thom has always been driven by the desire to make a positive impact: to leave the world a little more caring, sustainable, and full of life. Sport taught him the power of dedication, teamwork, and persistence, values that now shape how he approaches change in society. For years, Thom searched for a place where this drive could take root in his professional life: and found it at BYCS. The organization’s belief in human-centered transformation, collaboration, and the power of cycling to build happier, healthier cities resonates deeply with his own purpose: to help people and places flourish together.
Thom holds a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management & Entrepreneurship and a master’s in Sport Business & Leadership. Along the way, he gained experience at Air Traffic Control the Netherlands (LVNL), where he worked on stakeholder management and communication strategies, learning how to navigate complex environments and align diverse interests. Later, as a business consultant at Team Visma | Lease a Bike, he focused on sustainable business development and sustainability strategy: experiences that strengthened his ability to translate vision into practical impact and to inspire collaboration across different worlds.
At BYCS, Thom works as a Project Coordinator and Management Trainee. In this dual role, he helps coordinate (inter)national projects while contributing to the organisation’s broader development on a management level. With his structured, energetic, and purpose-driven approach, Thom aims to help BYCS grow its impact and continue transforming cities: making cycling a driver of connection, wellbeing, and positive change.
