BYCS to Work

Biking to work works!

BYCS to Work is a fun and effective bicycle stimulation program aimed at increasing cycling uptake within your company. Through a variety of tools and activations, the program facilitates the wide scale shift from the car to the bike. Why? Because stimulating cycling to work not only demonstrates being a responsible employer, it also ensures less sick days and increased engagement and productivity. With elements of gamification, behavioral science and smart technology, we provide the just right factors to sparking behavioral change and get your employees cycling to work.

At the heart of the BYCS to Work program, lies interactive leaderboard in which employees can compete with one another through various challenges linked to their commute by bike. This integrated approach allows the competition to be totally customized to the individual needs of your employees. The program is supported by research insights, activations & events, inspiring cycling showcases, an elaborate network of facilitators, and much more, tailored to your specific wants and needs.

Would you like to increase the productivity of your employees, lower your organization’s carbon footprint, and cut company cost? Discover what the bicycle can do for your company.

BYCS to Work Zuidas

One of the areas we are currently activating BYCS to Work is Zuidas an ambitious, high quality international business district located in the heart of Amsterdam. Our efforts here are part of wide scale collaboration to help the area become one of the most sustainable and progressive business districts in the world.

BYCS helps companies, municipalities, and employees at Zuidas to get to work by bike instead of by car, resulting in healthier and happier people, reduced CO2 emissions and less expenses.

Immediate result in just 5 steps

Zuidas is an ambitious and high quality business district of which sustainability is an important element. In order to meet its great ambitions, investments are being made to maintain the area’s quality of life, work and accessibility during the construction work on Zuidasdok and afterwards. To this end, BYCS enters into dialogue with employers regarding the sustainability of their mobility policies. By means of a simple step-by-step plan, which includes an exploratory quick scan and access to our leaderboard, we’re able to quickly clarify the potential of bicycle stimulation at your organization.

Awareness of preconditions

In addition to our BYCS to Work program, we provide insights on various beneficial (tax) plans and regulations, that make the switch to the bicycle (whether on e-bike or not) interesting for both employers and employees. Think of allowances, compensations and other financial incentives or grants for bike stimulating provisions, such as parking- and shower facilities. At Zuidas, BYCS advises companies on the best way to take advantage of such regulations. Don’t wait too long, not all (tax) plans are indefinite.
