Aparna Saroagi

Aparna Saroagi is on BYCS Board of Advisors, bringing knowledge from finance, entrepreneurship, and gender and LGBTQI+ sectors.

Aparna Saroagi is an IIT Delhi alumnae, a Bharti Scholarship holder, and a TEDx speaker. Her main role is as Director and Head, Credit Risk, India, NatWest Group, where she is also Chair, Employee led Network, LGBTQ+ India Inclusion Council. She has couple of decades of experience in investing banking, risk management, consulting, technology adoption, greenfield project deployment.

She is also a co-founder of social initiatives: Women Entrepreneurship and Empowerment (WEE Platform) and Inclusive Innovation in New Normal (INSquare). Both are global platforms to strengthen women economic empowerment and sustainable leadership with focus on Build back better with women. She has been a speaker at various prestigious international forums. She writes regularly on Sustainability and Women empowerment for leading journals with publications including BusinessWorld, Financial Express, Bloomberg and many more.

Her involvement on the BYCS Global Advisory Board is with the goal of further contributing to a global sustainability agenda. Through the simple yet powerful concept – diversity of active mobility – bicycling for happier and healthier communities – improving the cities/ infrastructure to be more human centric – many can achieve a better quality of life.
