Over the years, Lucas has been a cyclist while living in Paris, London, Montreal, Mexico City, Los Angeles and Amsterdam, each one strengthening his desire to work towards healthier and more equitable cities.
He previously worked at the NewCities Foundation and curated the content and program for CoMotion LA, a summit on the future of urban mobility. With an academic background in Anthropology and Human Geography, Lucas is passionate about engaging diverse stakeholders on topics such as human-centric cities, transportation equity and citizen engagement in urban processes.
Managing research and advocacy initiatives for BYCS, he works to amplify local voices and advance an inclusive, transnational vision of cycling transformation.
