Felipe Caicedo Otero

Felipe is a researcher that found in the simplicity of bicycling a solution for the complexity of the world’s problems. He has been dedicated to the promotion of cycling mobility using research and communications to spread the word on how happy the future can be if we all use bicycles.

He has previous experience working with networks of democracy and human rights activists. There, he monitored violations and improvements related to human rights in Latin America and the Caribbean. After a “eureka!” moment, he decided to take all his research experience and re-focus it on the promotion of bicycles.

Felipe is based in Panama City from where he supports BYCS in the areas of research, communications and the Bicycle Mayor Network in Latin America
